Summary:
Canoscan 9000F (pixma) don't scan with the desired resolution

Detailed description
I'm using sane-backends 1.0.23 from git and experiencing the following issue:

When scanning with xsane I'm able to scan with all desired resolutions, the resulting image files are of the expected sizes.

300dpi: 25658079 14. Apr 19:36 test0001.pnm
600dpi: 102666906 14. Apr 19:37 test0002.pnm
1200dpi: 410624709 14. Apr 19:38 test0003.pnm

On the other hand, when I try to scan with scanimage (or simple-scan, which internally makes use of scanimage), all scans seem to be at 600dpi, whatever --resolution I'm giving on the command line.

scanimage -d pixma:04A91908 --resolution 300 --mode Color --source Flatbed >test1
scanimage -d pixma:04A91908 --resolution 600 --mode Color --source Flatbed >test2
scanimage -d pixma:04A91908 --resolution 1200 --mode Color --source Flatbed >test3

107429029 14. Apr 19:51 test1
107429029 14. Apr 19:51 test2
107429029 14. Apr 19:51 test3

What am I doing wrong here? What can I do to narrow down the issue?

Thanks and regards,

/Hannes
