Summary:
Brother DS-620 has a proprietary driver, model is unlisted on compat page

Detailed description
Manufacturer: Brother
Model: DS-620
Interface: USB
USB id: 0x04f9/0x60e0

Brother distributes RPMs and .debs containing a SANE backend for this scanner. Based on udev rules distributed alongside, I expect the backend also supports the DS-720D, DS-820W, and DS-920DW, but I don't have any of those scanners to test with.

Scanning a page worked for me on Fedora 22. I imagine that covers "Basic" support at least.

They might distribute the source, but I kind of doubt it and if so I wasn't able to find any kind of indication on their support site. I don't expect the SANE team to put any kind of work into a proprietary driver, but it would be nice if the website could indicate that it exists.
